YOU'RE INVITED! First Community Meeting June 2nd 6:30 pm Clements Community Center, 1580 Yarrow St
A connected, informed, and resilient Morse Park community that preserves its unique character, supports a high quality of life, and encourages responsible economic vitality that serves residents and strengthens the neighborhood.
The MPNO is a resident-led non-profit dedicated to representing the interests of our community for the benefit of the general public. We strengthen community connections by providing educational resources, sharing timely information, and encouraging active civic participation to ensure resident perspectives are heard in the decisions that shape our neighborhood’s future.
We prioritize a safe, welcoming, and livable neighborhood for residents and property owners of all ages and backgrounds.
We advocate for development that is context-sensitive, sustainable, and aligned with infrastructure capacity and neighborhood needs.
We support maintaining the established scale, identity, and stability of Morse Park as the community evolves.
We support small businesses, neighborhood-serving retail, and economic activity that enhances convenience and walkability.
We provide the tools and information necessary to encourage neighbors to participate actively in local decision-making.
We are committed to providing clear, timely, and accurate educational information regarding development proposals and city processes.
We support efforts that enhance public safety, traffic management, and the maintenance of neighborhood infrastructure.
We engage constructively with city officials and stakeholders to promote responsible outcomes.
We are a voluntary organization, independent of any HOA or government body, and remain strictly non-partisan.
The MPNO acts as a complementary body to existing community programs. While other initiatives may focus on lifestyle and environmental programming, the MPNO specifically addresses land-use, zoning, and civic representation to ensure our neighborhood's physical character supports a sustainable future for all.
